Gallery Lilly Zeligman is housed in a renovated, pittoresque building at the Torenlaan, in the centre of Laren near the famous 'Brink' (the city square).
Lilly Zeligman bases her exhibition policy on the careful selection of those artists, whose works display a 'sense of reality', either magical realistic or surrealistic. The gallery also exhibits contemporary jewellery and small-scale sculptures in glass, stone, bronze and ceramics. In a broader sense, the policy of the gallery is concentrated on monumentality. At all times, the autonomous quality of the artworks as well as the interaction between the various artistic media on exhibit are thé point of departure for selecting them.
In thematically arranged exhibitions for instance, the media painting and jewelry can enhance the overall impression and lend the beholder a different point of view from which to contemplate and enjoy the artworks.
